How much does the program cost?

Dental Assistant Program free is $3295.00
Radiology for the Dental Auxillary fee is $500.00.
Coronal Polishing for the Dental Assistant II fee is $225.00.

How do I pay for the class?

1. Option 1-You can pay the balance in full, or in two (2) equal installments. The first installment is due before class begins to hold your seat and the other is due exactly halfway through class. There are no interest charges associated with this plan. This plan is called our “Half N Half” payment plan.

2. Option 2- We work with 3rd party lenders who offer our students 12, 18 or 24 month interest-free financing. This special financing is available only for those students who are approved (Approval for any interest-free option is based on credit approval). A co-signer can be used and is recommended. For more information or to submit an application over the phone and get an answer within minutes, call 877-432-3555.

3. Option 3-We are able to accept a minimum deposit of $500 for you to begin the class. You then must sign a "Pay as You Learn" Truth in Lending form which commits you to an agreed upon weekly or biweekly automatic draft amount so that tuition will be paid off by your graduation date. (A larger deposit means your weekly payment will be lower). In North Carolina ONLY, there is a one-time 5% of the remaining balance, fee added to your tuition balance after your initial seat deposit. If you enroll in this program and you miss a payment, you will not be allowed entry back to class until your payment agreement is current.

4. If you are unemployed or are a single parent you may be eligible to receive state funded assistance to attend this class. Please contact your local unemployment office or the local Dept. of Social Services office in your county regarding the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) and the JobLinks Programs.

5. We now work with the Dept. of Veteran Affairs (VA) to accept GI Bill benefits for military members. We also work closely with the MyCAA educational program for the military members spouses. Please call our offices at 877-432-3555 M-F, 9a-4p if you have these benefits available to you and are interested in using them for enrollment in our program.

What is included in the course fee?

Course fees include tuition, textbook and workbooks and other handout materials.
Certifications for both Programs include OSHA, CPR, HIPAA and Medical Office Emergencies.

What do I do if I don’t pass the final exam?

Most students pass if they follow all of our guidelines, but if you don’t, we allow each student one re-test in each course.  Please note that all re-tests must be completed no later than ninety days following the last class meeting.  If you are not able to pass the test within ninety days you can re-enroll for at a 50% reduced fee for a period up to six months following your first course.  After this six-month period, you are required to pay full tuition minus the cost of books unless the textbook has changed.

How many classes can I miss to still pass the class?

A student may be granted one leave of absence per course. A leave of absence must be requested in writing prior to the beginning of the requested leave and must be approved by the school director. A copy of the approved leave of absence request will be maintained in the student's academic file.
The student must make up the time missed due to an approved leave of absence during the next scheduled term in order to satisfy the graduation requirements. A leave of absence is discouraged except in emergency situations.

What do I need to bring to my first class?

Don’t forget to bring pens, paper, a calculator and a highlighter.  Dress comfortably.  You may also want to bring a sweater in case the room is too cool for you.

What is the inclement weather policy?

Our inclement weather policy tends to follow the cancellation policy of the local community colleges.  For example, if Wake Technical Community College is closed then we will be closed for our Wake County classes.  Weekend classes will receive instructions from their instructor. Students are also encouraged to call the school office at 877-432-3555.
